Expenditure Tracking:

The U.S. government announced that all bailout expenditures would be tracked online for the public to examine at the web site: FinancialStability.gov. Unfortunately, the site is mostly fluff, with videos of speeches and ideology with little actual information as to the current allocation of funds. The site fails to break down expenditures into a simple table that truly indicates what is happening. That is where we come in...

This page is updated regularly to reflect actual expenditures. Therefore these numbers are less than the total amount of allocated bailout funds, because much of the allocated funds have yet to be used.

The following is a simplified list of total current bailout expenditures, and is believed accurate as of the date listed based on information of public record and bailout.propublica.org. All numbers are in billions of US Dollars.

Figures vary depending on the source due to the fact that some sources only include Treasury (direct taxpayer) funds and some sources include funds from other federal sources such as the Federal Reserve. We have attempted to include expenditures from all Federal sources wherever the data is available.
